DALLAS - 'The bigger the hair, the closer to God', that's the saying that Texas women have been saying for years. Now you can get it without teasing and spraying and damaging your hair.

Hair extensions have been used by celebrities for years, but now they're avaialbe to everyone. With websites like www.extensions.com and salons like the Beauty Box, you can get the look and prices range from $99 to several hundred.

Jennifer Pompa with extensions.com met me at The Beauty Box to tell me what the latest trends are. She says clip in color is huge for teens who want a different look but don't want permanent hair color. Jen used Easilites, 100% human hair in colors like blue and red to add a pop of color to my locks.

Jen's favorite piece is called 'Bump Up the Volume' and it's made of heat-friendly synthetic fiber. On the extensions website they show easy instruction of how to use it. but it's one piece that's specifically designed to give volume at the crown of the head.

Another popular application is the tape in method. It's what owner of the Beauty Box, Christopher Box says is his most requested extensions. His clients come to him wanting a product that can last 6-8 weeks and not damage their hair. Tape in extensions may cost a bit more, but they last much longer. The extensions start at $250-$400 for basic volume- 100% Remy Human Hair. They are extrememly light weight and even reusable.
