My Love Affair with San Diego

I took a job with Jon Renau and easihair extensions as creative director in 2007 and 2008. I had an idea about a little thing called tape in hair extensions that I brought to them. I took my dream job doing what I love, hair extensions! I lived their about a year and a half. It was a tumultuous and busy time. I traveled a lot and learned a lot.

San Diego is a tough city to crack. I missed Dallas so much it hurt. You know in retrospect you can look back and say, " I just didn't give it the chance it deserved." I can say that now that I have been back in Dallas for 2 years now. I know moving back was the right thing to do. I am the proud owner of a thriving salon, The Beauty Box. My vacation has been everything I wanted and more. I realize just how many amazing people I know in San Diego. I feel blessed that my world is a bigger and better place all thanks to easihair!

There is a kind of magic here. Something I cannot explain. The way the sun hits the city always captivates me. Once San Diego gets into your bones it never goes away. I will always be grateful for my time with easihair. Maybe sometime in the future there will be a Beauty Box Salon in San Diego. (maybe sooner than you think)

I drove up to easihair headquarters in VIsta California. Paul Reynolds, CEO of easihair, met up with me. We grabbed some lunch and talked hair extensions. So many new things coming out. I have a feeling that The Beauty Box Salon will be venturing into the land of hair replacement soon.

I am happy to announce that Paul was off to NYC for fashion week. It appears that the stylists doing the models hair "drool" over easilengths tape in hair extensions! Rumor has it that even Gwen Stefani was spotted near the easilengths crew. Seems that Betsey Johnson may have been in the action as well.

All in all an outstanding trip! I am looking forward to great things at The Beauty Box Salon.
