You've told us you LOVE Lauren Conrad's hair over and over, so we finally delivered by dedicating our May cover to the gorgeously glam L.C. (Can I just say I immediately went out and got my hands on a pair of denim shorts after seeing how great they looked on her!). If you've already delved into your new issue then you've heard about Lauren's hair revelation, but if you've been saving your copy to read over the weekend then I forewarn you not to jump ahead—this is a beauty spoiler alert...
In an interview with your favorite Cali girl, we asked:
GLAMOUR: Have you ever tried hair extensions, or is this all your own?
LAUREN CONRAD: Well, I consider it mine because I own it. [Laughs.] But these are all extensions. I chopped all my hair off to my shoulders. I thought I was doing a chic bob. It was so bad. I have the taped-in ones, which are great because they lie flat when you pull your hair into a ponytail. I couldn’t do the individual ones; they felt like bugs!
She never revealed this beauty tidbit on Laguna Beach or The Hills!
I actually saw this type of tape-in hair extension backstage at Rebecca Taylor's Fall 2010 show during New York Fashion Week. Hairstylist, Rudi Lewis, used EasiLengths to add major volume and length to models' hair. I was dying to swap places with them and add a few inches to my short cut—if only I was taller and could walk down a runway in sky-high heels!
